---In With the New!
As you may know, Poco was sold to manager Rick Jones and longtime regulars Aaron Tebrink and Jonathan Nelson. During a ~3 week closure, we added a wide spirits selection as well as beers and wine on tap, to accompany Poco’s existing dinner and wine offerings. Pass the word around: Poco is your neighborhood bar, no matter what your tastes. We deeply hope you like it!
--- Now on Tap!
We're proud to be currently pouring Piccola Cellars wines from our new, nitrogen-powered wine taps. Based in Woodinville, Washington, Piccola Cellars specializes in local wines by the keg. They offer wines from several wineries and also their own blends. We're currently carrying their Pinot Gris and Bordeaux Blend for $7 per glass ($5 on happy hour).
Our beer taps will be rotating regional breweries. Currently on tap for $5 a pour is:
Avery White Rascal - Boulder, CO
3 Skulls Red - Seattle, WA
Stone Brewing Arrogant Bastard Ale - Escondido, CA
--- New Chef: Kurt Stolte
Kurt comes to us from places such as 10 Mercer and B&O Espresso. His most recent endeavor was lead chef at Tidbit Bistro on Broadway. Kurt loves working with seasonal local ingredients and creating Mediterranean style dishes. You will see Kurt's flair in our dishes in the coming weeks.
--- Valentine’s Day Plans?
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Our new chef Kurt is going to prepare a special four-course meal for two, just for the occasion. We’re not doing reservations this year, so come early for immediate seating, or to just hang out and enjoy the new craft cocktails while awaiting an open seat.
--- Covington Cellars tasting - February 23rd 6-9PM
Covington Cellars is a small production, boutique winery in the Warehouse District of Woodinville. Started in 2002, their grapes come from some of the most respected vineyards in the state including Pepper Bridge and Seven Hills vineyards in Walla Walla, as well as Klipsun and Kiona on Red Mountain. Their high standards and attention to detail produce wines with depth, interest and elegance. Their winemaker Morgan Lee will be joining us with samples of his current wines.
--- Gift Cards and Parties
Poco has gift cards! Next time you are thinking about gifts for the wine-lover who has everything, ask our staff about gift cards.
And don't forget that Poco is an excellent place to host a party, so if you're planning to throw a party and need a space, give us a call or drop us an email!
Cheers!
-Rick Jones, Jonathan Nelson, and Aaron Tebrink
